The Community Standards Bylaw promotes good neighbour relationships through regulation of neighbourhood nuisances like fire pit use, noise, weeds and grass, and untidy properties.
Over the past year, the City of Calgary has conducted a review of this bylaw to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of Calgarians. The review found that while most of the Community Standards Bylaw meets citizen needs and effectively addresses neighbourhood issues, there are some areas of the bylaw that can be improved.
A number of bylaw changes are being considered and we would like your feedback on these changes, you can find the survey here. Your input is greatly appreciated and it will be used to help make decisions on the proposed amendments to the Community Standards Bylaw that will be provided to Council later this year.
