It’s time to start thinking about Beakerhead (September 10 – 14, 2014), and this year’s goal is to inspire Calgarians of all ages, far and wide to join in exploring their creativity. Beakerhead is opening an entertaining door to the world of science and engineering.

There’s nothing better than engaging with Calgary’s vibrant culture, and Beakerhead wants to make sure you don’t miss out so come be a part of the craziest Art, Science, and Engineering spectacle the world has ever seen!

Special Family Package Available

CBE Consultant Presentation on Modernizations

The Calgary Board of Education will be hosting a consultant presentation on designs for the modernization projects at Bowness and Jack James high schools and the construction of Evergreen Middle School and the Christine Meikle replacement school. The presentations will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 6-7 p.m. at the Education Centre at 1221 8 St. S.W.

Free underground parking is available off 12 Avenue S.W. during the event.

For residents who are unable to attend, CBE will be keeping the public informed and always welcome input on this important project on their website at http://www.cbe.ab.ca/schools/underdev/default.asp.

The CBE will also be holding another similar open house on the evening of Sept. 17.
