Qualico Communities wants to hear from you. Please review our proposed plans for future development of the lands west of Crestmont and complete the survey to win Dinner at Notable the Restaurant.
Hope you have had a good summer.
We want to bring to your attention again to some significant developments that will be happening in our area in the next few years. The Calgary Planning Commission will be making the decision to approve 3 proposals for developing new housing, commercial buildings, and offices in the area west of COP. A few members of the board as well as some residents of our community will be going to City Hall on the appropriate day to voice our concerns and comments regarding those developments. This meeting have been postponed a few times, and we will let you know once we have a date from the City.
We want to make sure that our community’s views are represented well. Please provide your valuable input by:
1. [By Monday, October 14] Taking this survey to give us your opinion on some of the issues that we have identified as important, as well as other issues that you want to raise. (5-10 minutes)
2. [As Soon As Possible] Taking this official City of Calgary survey about the West Calgary Trans-Canada Corridor (5-10 minutes)
3. Signing up for our newsletter to be kept updated on new information regarding the developments and other community issues
4. Becoming a member and supporting us in our efforts to represent your voice.
If you have any questions please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Don’t worry, you don’t have to read all of these to take the surveys (they don’t require detailed knowledge)! Just give us your honest opinion.
We get a LOT of inquiries about the Crestmont Hall. Just to be clear, WE are the Crestmont Community Association and we are a not-for-profit, volunteer run organization made up of community members. Although we are graciously offered the use of the hall for our meetings and events, we DO NOT manage the hall.
The Crestmont Homeowners’ Association manages the Hall and it’s rental for weddings, fitness classes, etc. The Crestmont Homeowners’ Association is a not-for-profit registered under the Society’s Act.

Qualico has provided us with PDF copies of the latest Crestmont Stage 4 Plan and a Summary of Changes made to the plan from October 2011 to March 2013 (as presented at the AGM) and have given us permission to post these links to our website. Please consider volunteering for our development committee so you can help represent our community on matters such as these.
The City of Calgary will be hosting an Open House for the Shape, Loblaws and Qualico outline plan and land use applications on March 27 from 5-8 at the Montgomery Community Association.
The three developers will have their presentation materials at the open house along with The City.
Crestmont Residents are invited to fill out this short 10-question survey to provide their feedback on how development will take place west of the current Crestmont boundary. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
