Coming up on Sunday October 30th from noon to 4pm at the Crestmont Hall is the annual Crestmont Kids Halloween Party.
There will be snacks, games, activities, crafts, prizes and, of course, the costume contest.
We need volunteers so if you are able to help out with some of the events and activities, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. The more help we have, the better this event will be so please join us.
Come one, come all to the Bowness Park reopening – “Ice-Breaker” on Saturday, February 07th , 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
An invitation to attend and celebrate the re-opening of Bowness Park, after undergoing a major redevelopment from the 2013 flood and the 2014 fall snow storm . The 4 hour event is a public drop-in skating party with hot chocolate/coffee and light refreshments. The festivities are being organized in partnership with The City of Calgary Parks and the Bowness Community Association.
Food trucks will be on site serving light refreshments while supplies last for an estimate attendance of 750 people. Food will then be made available for purchase.
Horse drawn wagon rides have also been arranged, with the route being posted in the Park.
KidSport, a national not-for-profit organization will be on site lending out skates for those who require them, who either forgot them at home or do not own skates.
On June 7th, the Crestmont Community Association had a pretty swell soiree at the Crestmont Hall. With over 70 people in attendance there was great community spirit, lots of fun and almost $1800 in prizes donated by our generous sponsors.
Of course this event couldn’t have happened without the hard work of our volunteer board members and the other volunteers that helped out. A huge thank you to the following people:
Al Del Degan
… and of course our sponsors that really helped us to make this a very classy and memorable event…
